Who we are

A Mechanical Engineering graduate with a Master’s degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, he brings a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, systems thinking, and applied research.

With over two decades of experience in energy sustainability and energy consulting - beginning from the early evolution of the industry - he has led transformative initiatives focused on energy efficiency, decarbonization pathways, and high-performance building systems aligned with LEED and global green building frameworks.

He strongly believes that energy and water conservation are the most effective and scalable climate actions, as they directly reduce carbon emissions, lower resource intensity, and enhance long-term resilience in the built environment. His work consistently prioritizes demand reduction and performance optimization as the foundation of meaningful climate action.

A strong advocate of technology-driven energy intelligence, he actively integrates AI, machine learning, and IoT to enhance diagnostics, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making across building lifecycles.

He holds multiple professional credentials, including LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP O+M, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), and Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA). He is also a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineers (India) and currently serves as the Sustainability Chair of the ASHRAE Saudi Arabia Chapter.

Deeply committed to leadership development and knowledge sharing, his mission is to mentor and shape at least 100 next-generation leaders who will positively impact the industry, society, and the planet. A passionate teacher at heart, he has conducted several hundred training sessions on green buildings, energy efficiency, and HVAC systems, actively publishes educational content, and continues to teach and mentor professionals - driven by purpose rather than availability - irrespective of ongoing business commitments.
