In this part of the addendum we have discussed ASHRAE Standards in LEED as applicable to LEED Green Associate Examination.
ASHRAE is an acronym for American Society for Heating Refrigeration and Air conditioning Engineers. ASHRAE is an international voluntary organization for people involved in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) Industry.ASHRAE has extended its role beyond HVAC & R. For example ASHRAE standard 90.1 stipulates minimum performance requirements for Building envelope, lighting, motors etc..
LEED refers to ASHRAE standard in many credits. This presentation details the references by different credits to ASHRAE standards
