Project Summary
Conserve Solutions conducted detailed surge and vibration analysis for the newly added 600mm diameter piping system linked with a submersible pump inside an existing tank at the Sewage Treatment facility. Using QCS 2014 guidelines, transient fluid simulations were performed to assess pump trip and startup events, revealing the necessity for pressure surge protection within the sewage water pumping station.
Dynamic analysis using equivalent static methods verified piping stresses and support loads, ensuring system reliability and adherence to Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS 2014). The analysis provided critical insights into the hydraulic and structural integrity of the piping and pumping systems, enabling effective mitigation of surge-induced risks.
This project exemplifies Conserve’s expertise in executing complex hydraulic and structural assessments for critical municipal wastewater infrastructure in Qatar.
