Conserve sustainability division has a wide range of experience and reputation in executing Green Building certification projects within the Middle East region. We are an official member of U. S. Green Building Council and our team includes LEED AP BD+Cs, LEED AP O+Ms, WELL AP, MOSTADAM AP and Envision SP.
We have successfully executed about 100 green building projects (mainly LEED and GSAS) ranging from Stadiums for FIFA 2022, Metro Stations, Iconic Hotels, Districts, Neighborhood developments, Parks, Schools, Commercial Buildings, Residential developments, etc. Our team works closely with the Consultant and Contracting teams on incorporating intended sustainable strategies within the design & construction. We have a solid up-lift ratio of 40% exceeding project contractual requirements without having impacts to the budget or schedule.
We can support projects from the concept through operations stages, working with different stakeholders delivering sustainable targets and requirements as briefed below:
Concept/Schematic Stages – For the Client/Lead Consultant
Setting-up sustainability targets for the intended development based on the project geography, budget and schedule
Preparing contractual requirements for the lead consultant/design & build contractor based on the set-sustainability targets
Carrying-out preliminary/feasibility analysis based on developed concept/schematic and identifying gaps/risks from the contractual requirements
Setting-up a base scoring sheet based on the preliminary/feasibility analysis
Detailed Design/Issue for Construction (IFC) Stages – For the Lead Consultant
Performing Energy Modeling and other simulations (Lighting, Daylight, Acoustics, etc.) as required for the certification
Preparing credit/criteria templates, associated calculations, drawing mark-ups, narratives and calculations
Design workshops with various disciplines to ensure incorporation of intended sustainability features during design development process
Communications with the certifying body (GBCI or equivalent) for registration, initial discussions, submissions, addressing comments until design approval
Providing sustainability inputs into the tender specifications for requirements associated with the contractor
Construction – For the Main Contractor
Setting-up sustainability material review protocol and templates based on project specific targets
Trainings for the QS/Procurement team on types of evidences, information requirements in the evidences and compliance methodologies (for performance based materials/products like HVAC equipment, Light fixtures, etc.)
Setting-up base plans for credits/criteria associated with site implementation
Trainings for site environmental/HSE team on types of evidences and information requirements in the evidences
Compilation of periodical data and progress meetings as required
Providing sustainability inputs to the Testing & Balancing (TAB)/Commissioning team
If specific credits associated with Enhanced Commissioning, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Management are targeted; plans and supports to the assigned parties to perform the requirements
Preparing credit/criteria templates, associated calculations, drawing mark-ups, narratives and calculations for construction submissions
Communications with the certifying body (GBCI or equivalent) for registration, initial discussions, submissions, addressing comments until final approval
Operation – For the Client/Operator
Perform Energy Audits and Technical evaluation study on existing operations to identify potential areas of improvement
Techno-economic feasibility study if the client wishes to pursue LEED O+M certification or equivalent
Setting-out templates for document collection from the operations team (from SCADA/BMS or Manual recordings)
Analysis of data and proposals low/no, moderate and high cost implementation measures based on intended sustainability targets
Tracking post-implementation data and compiling evidences for submissions
Communications with the certifying body (GBCI or equivalent) for registration, initial discussions, submissions, addressing comments until approval
